In Belle-île the sea surrounds you. Even in your bedroom looking on the heath you can catch sight of this blue nature in the distance. The sea is always nearby.
You will enjoy a marvellous view on heath covered with gorse and heather whose colour changes as seasons pass.
Settled in the middle of the heath Goulphar lighthouse, an historical monument dating back to 1835 (end of its construction), keeps a watchful eye on the sea and its sailors. You need a little energy to climb its 213 steps leading to the lantern.
When the night comes its beam of light sweeps the horizon without disturbing you in your sweet sleep as it passes above our heads.
